My Ultimate Hotel List in Spain Part 2

Catalonia Royal Ses Estaques

What a stunning hotel! The rooms are beautiful and spacious. I arrived a little earlier than expected and the staff were nothing but helpful and attentive. The views from the rooms are breathtaking, and the staff really make an effort to ensure nothing obscures them! The cocktails were wonderful and the breakfast was one of the best I have had, with such a wide selection of tasty food. I loved the small snacks that are offered to guests in the late afternoon. This is such a well-thought-out hotel. Thanks to all the wonderful staff who made my stay so enjoyable! If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I would.

I stayed on the top floor in a suite, and it was the best night I've had in Ibiza. This hotel is magical. The rooms are incredible, and the rooftop pool is gorgeous. I didn't have to fight for beds or sun loungers at any time of the day. The room service menu and the restaurant were great too.

The staff are super friendly and the location is fantastic. The hotel was full when I was there (all 30 something rooms) but at no point did it feel crowded; in fact, quite the opposite. They even allowed me a free late check-out until 2:30 pm, which was great as I did not want to leave! I highly recommend renting a car and exploring the nearby towns and beaches, but you don't need a car if you just want to enjoy the area. The main town is a 10-minute walk past the marina, which is lovely.

I will definitely be coming back here for years to come. I can't think of a single fault or something I would change, apart from wishing I had stayed longer.

Hotel Riomar, Ibiza

One of the best beach hotels I’ve been to, and I’ve been to a LOT (90+ days a year on the road). Plenty of space at the pool and beach. Solid food. Excellent service. Reasonable guests, not too many kids. Very chill vibe. I came on weekday so it has been very relaxed and not too hot. Perfect. I had an amazing time here.

My room was facing the ocean. I spent most of my time on the amazing terrace, by the pool, or at the beach right on the doorstep of the hotel. The service is good, and having breakfast outside with an ocean view was unbeatable.

The little promenade here is lovely to stroll up and down, whether for ice cream, some shopping, eating out, or stopping at one of the small supermarkets. There were free yoga classes every morning on a nice patio at the hotel.

The sun beds at the beach are free for hotel guests and there were always plenty available. At this part of the beach, there is a lifeguard, and you can take long swims parallel to the shore. I would love to come back soon.
