If you’re into golf (or even thinking about getting started), Roger Dunn Golf Shops is like walking into a golfer’s paradise. Picture this: a massive selection of everything golf-related, from new and used clubs to shoes, bags, and tools to improve your game. It’s basically the CostCo of golf, right in the neighborhood, and you get to try before you buy—how awesome is that?
One of my favorite things about this place is the swing practice facilities. You can actually try out clubs and see how they feel before committing. The staff here is super friendly, too, and they genuinely want to help you. Whether you’re trying to improve your swing or just looking for advice on the right club, they offer free consultations and are incredibly patient.
This shop has it all—new gear, used clubs, and even a club repair shop for quick fixes or custom builds. And, if you’re into premium fittings, they’ve got the TaylorMade West LA Performance Center and Callaway Performance Center right inside. Plus, the deals on golf bags, shoes, and apparel are unbeatable. Honestly, it’s hard to believe I used to go to Dick’s Sporting Goods when this gem was just a bit further down the road. Totally worth the extra drive!
The customer service here is on another level. Everyone’s super knowledgeable and just downright nice. David, the manager, is a stand-up guy who keeps everything running smoothly, and whether you’re at the podium talking to a sales associate or getting your clubs fixed in the back, you’ll be treated like an old friend.
I recently bought my first set of clubs, and Robert—who walked me through the whole process—was amazing. He kept my budget in mind and patiently explained everything without making me feel overwhelmed. Seriously, this place feels like a golfer’s Toys ‘R’ Us—you just want to come back again and again to check out all the new gear.
Parking? No problem. The lot is super easy to navigate, and the shop is wheelchair accessible, which makes it all the more welcoming. They’ve really thought about making this place convenient for everyone.
